This Week’s Most Anticipated Releases on Netflix

Welcome back to another look at what’s new on Netflix. The next seven days are going to be hectic, so here’s a rundown of all the new TV shows and movies

We’re constantly hearing about new releases for the rest of September 2022, and we’re also compiling a good list of what’s coming up in October 2022.

We’ll be keeping track of all new Netflix releases every day via our new Netflix hub.

Netflix: In the Dark (Season 4)

Tuesday, Netflix will release

In The Darkness, one of two The CW shows arriving on Netflix this week, is a criminally underappreciated drama that’s evolved over time. Unfortunately, both The CW shows premiering on Netflix this week will be the final seasons.

The final season of Roswell, New Mexico will also be available on Netflix this week.

We’ve seen Murphy Mason go from highs to lows over the course of 52 episodes.

Here’s what you can expect if you’ve never seen the show before:

Do Revenge (2022)

Friday will be available on Netflix.

The big new Netflix Original movie of the week is unquestionably the new teen film that has been compared to Alfred Hitchcock’s signature style.

Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke star in the dark comedy, which follows the pair’s characters teaming up to go after each other’s tormentors.

Bad Words (2013)

Available on Netflix on Friday.

There are a lot of licenced movies coming to Netflix this week, and if you’re still suffering from Ozark withdrawal, Bad Words should be on your list.

It stars Jason Bateman, who is back in his more familiar comedy role.

Bad Words follows a man who seeks vengeance on his estranged father by exploiting a loophole and competing in the National Spelling Bee as an adult.
