Raksha Bandhan: Movie Review, Cast, Story, 2022 Release Date Trailer and storyline

Raksha Bandhan, which translates to “the link of protection,” is the theme of the new Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar film. He is a comedy-drama film directed by Aanand L Rai. The film has typical Akshay Kumar humour as well as a documentary about the dowry system, with Akshay Kumar’s family serving as a case study. It has everything – four sisters with different personalities, a brother attempting to find the proper partner for his sisters while jeopardising his own marriage. It concludes with an additional message about female child education, which serves as a sort of answer to the issue.

Akshay Kumar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth, and Deepika Khanna feature in Raksha Bandhan. The film, directed by Aanand L Rai, is about a family in which the eldest brother Lala looks for his four sisters while trying to fulfil his ailing mother’s request while respecting family values. Moviegoers respond well to the Raksha Bandhan film. The first episode has aired, and the hashtag #RakshaBandhanreview has begun to trend on social media. Critic View on Raksha Bandhan:

Lala Kedarnath, the eldest and only brother, is responsible for the marriages of the four sisters. What follows are his unwavering attempts to guarantee his sisters’ marriages before marrying Sapna, his childhood sweetheart. Will he be able to uphold his commitments, or does fate have other plans for him?

The problem is that Raksha Bandhan says all the right things, but in a very phoney way. Every five minutes, your tear ducts are relentlessly attacked. The emotional atmosphere becomes so dense in the second half that it threatens to drown you out. The viewer, like a swimmer caught off guard in a rapidly rising flood, sees no way out. Perhaps a non-linear approach would have been beneficial.

Technically, the film is flawless. The set and production design, as well as the VFX, are all first-rate, making you feel you’re in Chandni Chowk. The mayhem and craziness of the place have been well depicted. Everything is present except for the odour. K U Mohanan’s cinematography is also excellent. Aanand L Rai’s frames are often busy, and this is no exception.
