The way Never Have I Ever season 3 handles its protagonist makes it essential television viewing. The series impresses not just because of the content, but also because of Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s portrayal of Devi. It’s difficult to determine if Ramakrishnan has matured as an actor because she has always been flawless. She could delve deep into Devi’s intricacies and depict the outrageous and quiet moments so eloquently from the start. Season 3 reveals a more calm side of Devi, one that challenges Ramakrishnan to hone a new skill: the art of subtle acting. It’s something she excels at. Devi’s shenanigans have been curtailed by thorough study and reflection.
She remains inconsistent at times, but she is maturing. Ramakrishnan brilliantly portrays this aspect of her character, never allowing a minute pass when her expressive face isn’t revealing Devi’s interiority.
Season 3 of Never Have I Ever is fantastic. It’s wonderfully written, visually appealing, and masterfully performed. The series is propelled ahead by a definite vision and voice. This series will undoubtedly have a long shelf life in the adolescent drama genre.
The series centres around a difficult protagonist, which lends itself to fascinating storytelling. It will be interesting to watch how the show’s writers, led by co-creator Mindy Kaling, respond to the issue. The script is possibly the most important reason why this programme is still worth watching. Season 3 successfully and hilariously covers a wide range of subjects.

Critic View on Raksha Bandhan:
Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher developed the third season of Never Have I Ever. The programme, which is due to premiere on Netflix, tells the narrative of Devi Vishwakumar and everything that appears to be going wrong in her life. It’s been difficult for her since her father’s untimely death, but she’s trying to do her thing, being on her own, and doing all that a teenager is expected to do.
With each episode lasting approximately 30 minutes, I believe the programme is an excellent watch in that regard, and while it is a feel-good show, there is a lot going on at moments. A guilty pleasure, there are moments when you simply want to fast forward and see how it ends.
What remains the standout and applaud-worthy element of Never Have I Ever Season 3 is how the creators are talking about more than simply love and drama (though there is enough of that). The programme has touched on topics such as sorrow, thearpy (in one of the nicest conceivable ways), and sexuality, among others.
It is the holiday weekend, so if you want to watch material that is a no-brainer and will help you get rid of boredom, this may be the show for you. You will laugh, and there will be sequences that will make you cry, but just for a few seconds!
