Although K-Dramas on Netflix have had a busy Summer, September is currently scheduled to be one of the quietest months on Netflix in 2022. More announcements will be made throughout August and September, but for now, k-drama fans will only have two new dramas to look forward to: the crime-thriller Narco-Saints and the Korean adaptation of Little Women.
Since the success of shows like “Squid Game” and “Hellbound,” as well as the film “Parasite,” which won an Academy Award for Best Picture in 2020, Korean shows and movies have grown in popularity in the United States.
Given the success of K-dramas, Netflix is planning to launch some original series on its streaming platform next month. Here is a list of shows that you should definitely watch.
Narco-Saints season 1

If you enjoy watching action crime thriller series, “Narco-Saints” is an excellent choice. The series’ original title was “The Accidental Narco,” but it was later changed. The series is set in South America, where the National Intelligence Service of Korea discovers a drug lord operating in the region.
The story is further unravelled when the intelligence service seeks assistance from a regular person and he becomes involved in the drug trade. South Korean actor Park Hae-soo, best known for his role in “Squid Game,” stars in the “Narco-Saints” series. Ha Jung-woo, Yoo Yeon-seok, and Hwang Jung-min will also appear in the series.
Little Women Season 1

“Little Women” is based on Louisa May Alcott’s coming-of-age novel. In 1868 and 1869, the novel was published in two volumes. This novel has inspired numerous films and television series. And now, on September 3, a Korean adaptation of “Little Women” is set to be released. The series will have 12 episodes.
The series will tell the story of three sisters who face a major tragedy in their lives and must fight against one of their country’s wealthiest families. Kim Go-eun, Park Ji-hoo, and Nam Ji-hyun star in the series.
Once Upon a Small Town Season 1

Do you enjoy watching romantic comedies? If so, you should see “Once Upon a Small Town,” which is set to be released on September 5. The story revolves around a young man who receives a call from his grandfather asking him to come down to their village and take care of his clinic for six months while he travels to Europe.
When the young man arrives, he meets a beautiful girl who helps him explore life in the village. Park Soo-young, Choo Young-Woo, Ha Yul-ri, Baek Sung-Chul, and Jeong Seok-yong will play the main characters in the series. It has a total of 12 episodes.
