Liverpool vs Bournemouth: Liverpool scored nine goals in a ruthless rout of Bournemouth to end their winless streak

This was the one of the best match Liverpool vs Bournemouth that has been played. And Liverpool have ended their losing streak with a record of 9 goals.

Liverpool responded well to their loss at Old Trafford on Monday, scoring nine goals against Bournemouth at Anfield, and you can check the highlights here by reading full article.

Jurgen Klopp’s team was still missing ten first-team players, but they flew out of the gate and were two goals up within six minutes thanks to a Luis Diaz header and a fine Harvey Elliott strike.

Scott Elliott celebrated his son’s first Premier League goal by launching his jacket 20 feet into the air and several rows down from his seat in the Main Stand. The jacket was eventually returned to Harvey’s proud father, and Liverpool, following a midweek dressing down from Jürgen Klopp, regained the feel-good factor in record time.

Liverpool vs Bournemouth: Highlights

Klopp’s side dominated from the start, leading by five goals at halftime for the first time in a league game at Anfield since 1958, and matching their record league win – against Crystal Palace in 1989 – with time to spare. And Mohamed Salah failed to score. The rout began and ended with a Luis Daz header, but this was a day to appreciate Roberto Firmino’s enduring class. Within 31 minutes, the Brazil international had three assists and a goal and, to put it bluntly, extracted the Michael from Scott Parker’s sorry side.

After 151 seconds, Liverpool began the devastation. Even back then, an opening goal was on the way. After breaking through Bournemouth’s weak midfield to release Salah, Firmino delivered a delightful cross into the area for the soaring Daz to head past Mark Travers. The Bournemouth goalkeeper’s exhausting and humiliating afternoon had only just begun.

On six minutes, Daz, Elliott, and Salah combined on the right to score. Elliott swept a superb left foot finish into the bottom corner from 20 yards out after the Egypt international’s cross struck Firmino. The midfielder performed admirably for the 45 minutes he was on the field, his touch and movement far superior to anything in the visiting ranks, but he was replaced at halftime by fellow 19-year-old Fabio Carvalho. Scott Elliott’s pride will not be limited to Harvey’s excellent strike.

After 9 minutes of the game

After a slick exchange between Daz, Firmino, and Elliott, Salah prodded wide of an open goal and missed another glorious opportunity from six yards in the second half. That was probably Bournemouth’s only saving grace.

Alexander, Trent- Arnold’s defence has been scrutinised since the first seconds of the season. It was never put to the test here, but he demonstrated his attacking process with a stunning third goal after breaking through Bournemouth’s midfield and following Anfield’s instruction to shoot after a one-two with Firmino. He unleashed an unstoppable 25-yard drive that outpaced Travers purely on speed.

Firmino scored the goal. When Salah’s pass inadvertently looped off Chris Mepham and sailed into Bournemouth’s six-yard box, his performance was richly deserved. Liverpool’s center-forward twisted and volleyed past Travers. Virgil van Dijk easily held off a defender to head home an Andy Robertson corner on the stroke of half-time.

It was a much-needed victory for Klopp and his team, and they will try to carry that momentum into Wednesday’s match against Newcastle at Anfield.
