With a starting price of $33,550, the 2023 Hyundai Kona Electric is one of the most affordable electric SUVs. The midlevel SEL trim begins at $37,300. The top-of-the-line Limited model starts at $41,550, which is comparable to or less than the starting price of several competitors in the class.

Seating: There are five seats in this electric SUV.
Hyundai’s electric SUV is powered by a 39.2kWh battery pack coupled with an electric motor producing 136PS and 395Nm of torque. The ARAI claims a range of 452km, while Hyundai claims a sprint time of 9.7 seconds from zero to 100kmph.
There are three charging options: a 2.8kW compact charger, a 7.2kW wall-box charger, as well as a 50kW fast-charger. The first two can completely charge the battery in 19 hours and 6 hours and ten minutes, respectively. The 50kW DC quick charger charges the battery from 0% to 80% in 57 minutes.
Eco, Eco+, Comfort, & Sport driving modes are offered. Paddles positioned behind the steering wheel regulate the amount of regenerative braking.
The electric SUV has a sunroof, auto air conditioning with rear vents, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, cruise control, as well as a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support.
