House of the Dragon Season 1: Series Review, Cast, Story, 2022 Release Date Trailer and storyline

Coming to Westeros after the end of Game of Thrones had always been going to be difficult, but House of the Dragon First Season Episode 1 is a refreshing change of pace.

People have so much friction right away that it’s difficult not to wonder who will turn over who by the end of the season, and I am so excited to be along for the trip.

The narration of the series by Princess Rhaenyra is a great touch. It makes sense given that “The Heirs of the Dragon” is mostly about her transformation from a young woman intent to live a modest life to heir to the throne.

Rhaenyra’s story promises to be spectacular, but seeing her dragged into situations she never pictured herself in will be painful.

The past was sexist to female heirs to the throne, and it’s difficult not to imagine Princess Rhaenys being royally irritated at this active years after she was disregarded despite having the most serious claim to it.

At the beginning of the premiere, Rhaenyra was riding her dragon, wishing for a future in which she and Alicent would travel to diverse locations and engage in bizarre battles.

In this reality, it almost sounds like a dream, but her trip ahead will not be simple.

Critic View on The Last of Us:

The prequel centres on House Targaryen, which features King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine), his younger brother Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith), and the king’s daughter Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.

House of the Dragon is a thriller drama, tragedy, family tale, and precursor to a well-known franchise on HBO. Except for its relationship with Game of Thrones, all of these factors work in its favour in Season 1, Episode 1, “The Heirs of the Dragon.” The legendary series no longer has the same weight it did before the show’s disappointing ending disappointed fans and reviewers. That failure is the responsibility of the House of the Dragon. Despite its sincere efforts to establish itself as a distinct entity, the show fails to escape the shadow of its predecessor.

In reality, House of the Dragon flaunts its Game of Thrones links, much to its disadvantage. It makes no difference how many years before Daenerys Targaryen this occurs, since using Daenerys as a standard means reminding us that, no matter how hard we attempt to separate this tragedy from Danaerys’, they’re all part of the same tale. There’s little joy in supporting for the Targaryens because they constantly lose, as does the viewer.
