For the 2023 model year, the Honda Accord will receive an evolutionary makeover. It gains some length, expands the list of standard safety features, and doubles down on a hybrid engine.

Honda Accord 2023: Engine
The engine utilised in the LX and EX grades is an upgraded version of the previous generation’s 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. It produces 192 horsepower and is paired with a continuously variable gearbox.
The driver may choose between Econ and Normal modes, which change the settings for the engine, steering aid, gauge display, and adaptive cruise control. Sport and Individual modes are added to the hybrid variants for more personalization.
Other models (Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring) have a 204-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid, which is a minor loss in horsepower but an increase in torque over 2022. This puts the Accord on level with the 202 horsepower Toyota Camry hybrid.
Safety :
Honda claims that the Accord’s body was designed to meet the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) crash requirements, including its new, demanding side-impact test, as well as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Front-row knee airbags nowadays are standard.
Standard features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian recognition, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist. A standard rear seat belt reminder to encourage passengers to buckle up, as well as a rear seat recall to warn of a youngster or pet who may have been left behind, are other new features.
