A day before the release of movie Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan reveals that he hasn’t slept in over a month.
The wait is almost over, as Laal Singh Chaddha will arrive in theatres on August 11th. Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Naga Chaitanya, has been met with criticism in recent weeks. From Aamir Khan’s remark about ‘intolerant India’ in 2015 to his allegedly ‘hinduphobic’ film PK, people have cited various reasons to boycott his film. In the midst of all the excitement and controversy, Aamir Khan admitted to having sleepless nights for a month.

On the evening of August 10th, Aamir organised a special screening for the film’s cast and crew, as well as other industry celebrities. During an interview with the media, Aamir stated, “We need your prayers.” Normally, I am very anxious about the film’s release. Kiran (Rao) is aware of this. I haven’t been able to sleep in over a month. But I went to the Golden Temple in Amritsar this morning and felt very peaceful. I now believe that jaisa hoga theek hi hoga (whatever happens, it will be for the best).”
“We are happy that our film is finally reaching the theatres,” he continued. I just want to say that we made this film with a lot of love, and we hope that it will touch your hearts as much as it did ours while we were making it. I’m proud to say that Advait directed this film brilliantly. He created it exactly as we imagined. I’m proud that it’s a love story. I am pleased that this film depicts our beautiful Indian culture. It is being widely distributed, even in foreign countries. With great anticipation, we present this film to the audience. We hope people enjoy it.”
